AZ Caring Services provides service to individuals who have been diagnosed with a learning disability, challenging behaviour and those who are on the autistic spectrum and sensory needs.

We provide a person-centred approach using the principles of ordinary life which will enable each service user to develop their social and communication skills, become more independent and to lead a fuller and more productive life

Service users are supported on a daily basis to be more independent and become more responsible for their own individual homes and are encouraged to participate in Independent Living Skills, such as taking part in general domestic chores such as , house cleaning, bed making, laundry , house maintenance, gardening, preparing simple beverages and simple meals and washing up.

They are also encouraged to become more aware of the local community and are assisted with food and clothes shopping tasks, taught the value of money, encouraged to handle money and pay for food shopping, house bills and personal spending so that they become aware of how important money is in everyday life.
