A Z Caring Services Supported Living are tailored to each individual's needs and preferences.

Help with all stages of moving in, including planning, benefit and grant applications, budgeting, exploring transport links and the local area, skills assessment etc.

  • Support can be shared if living with others
  • Sleep In or Waking Night support if needed.

  • Enabling Support

The aim of our Enabling Support service is to help Service users to access and explore opportunities within the community, and develop their independence in the process.

  • Helping people achieve key outcomes and personal goals.
  • Exploring employment opportunities.
  • Accessing educational services.

Helping to link up with others and develop social networks in a variety of settings including clubs and drop-in centres.

Support in the community with errands such as benefit/pension collections, bill payments, grocery shopping etc.

  • Developing budgeting and money nandling skills.
  • Access social and leisure activities of interest.
  • Greater community involvement.
  • Promoting independent travelling through puclic transport e.g buses and trains.
  • Accommodation and Supported Housing

We help and support our clients in choosing accommodation that meets their individual assessed needs.

We support our tenant to maintain their tenancy in the accommodation which they may share with 2,3 or 4 other people.

We provide 24 hrs support. An individual tenant will be able to use up support hours between 2 -24hours ; including the waking night support depending on their assessed needs.

Support to apply for qualified benefits and develop/maintain their financial management skills such as budgeting and shopping

Support with food preparation.

Encourage personal development of the tenants.

Community Participation: Staff will actively help and encourage tenants to develop and maintain good contact with the local community.

Support to gain access to College, search for work both voluntary and paid, engage in leisure activities

We assist tenants in getting support from other agencies such as Psychiatrists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Speech & language therapists and occupational therapists etc.

We will support the tenants to meet their Religious & Cultural Needs
